Mainstreet DeLand Association
Downtown DeLand is an award winning Main Street community that has learned to cherish what is special about the past while planning and moving into the future. DeLand was the first community to receive the Main Street designation in Florida and was recognized as a “Great American Main Street Award” winner in 1997 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation Main Street Center.
Florida Main Street Program
Florida Main Street is a technical assistance program with the goal of revitalizing historic downtowns and encouraging economic development within the context of historic preservation. Florida Main Street is administered by the Division of Historical Resources and is affiliated with the National Main Street Center.
Florida Trust for
Historic Preservation
The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation is the state’s nonprofit dedicated to protecting Florida’s extraordinary heritage and history. Founded in 1978, the Florida Trust has collaborated to save irreplaceable Florida treasures like the Historic Florida Capitol and is a statewide partner of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
